The plague has passed

Well the plague has finally been lifted from the house, and everyone appears to be well - well about as well as can be expected (yay - 5 wells in one sentence).

In other exciting news Usurper has been kicked to the curb and is now in her own room. Sure the process was a nightmare and shoddily prepared for with a myriad of planning mistakes made and a complete lack of readiness when it came to having the right supplies and equipment. But cut us some slack people, we only had 14 months to plan.

In even more breakthrough news Little Miss is now shutting her bedroom door to create her own ‘Night Garden’ to sleep in.

You know what all this boils down to? For the first time in over a year (almost 2 if you count gestation) Wife and I are sleeping in a room alone with both children not only in there own rooms, but with their doors shut!

This can only mean one thing - bugger, now I can’t remember what it should mean anymore. Oh well, at least there is still the Olympics on the telly.
