I just realised I haven’t posted in over a week - what a slacker
The truth is that every day there are 20 things I think, ohh I must blog about that! But by the time I sit down in front of the computer I can’t quite remember what it was I wanted to share with you fine people.
For tonight I will keep it simple. I currently have a love / frustrate relationship with Little Miss - I love her to death, but she is so frustrating it is killing me. She has perfected whining, emotional blackmail, threats and nagging - all in the last week.
Usurper, she is just all go go go. She is making sounds that we have convinced ourselves are words, so we are almost having conversations.
The best bit is the two kids are having convos, playing games and making each other laugh. The worst bit is they are siblings and the rivalry is commencing in a big way.
The only thing for certain is that no matter who comes out on top - daddy will come out on bottom
When I share similar gripes about being a daddy, they all tell me that’s what daddy’s are for…
I think you’d agree: That can’t be it; there’s gotta be more to this…

Oh, what you say about your girls’ relationship with one another, is exactly the same for my boys. The good times they will be laughing together, hugging and kissing each other.
Then at other times, one will be making the other cry and there will be a constant competition for who’s first, who’s got more and who gets Mommy/Daddy’s attention first.
But we really can’t do without Daddy.
My boys have come to realise that too, and not just Mommy needed help and support.
